The Marbleseed Organic Farming Conference brings farmers together to learn, connect, and shape the future of organic agriculture. For nearly four decades, this annual gathering has been a cornerstone of the Midwest’s organic movement, uniting farmers, educators, and advocates for hands-on learning, shared wisdom, and community rooted in farmer-led, organic principles.
We look forward to seeing you in a new space this winter! Gather with us at Lake Lawn Resort in Delavan, WI, on February 26, and 27, 2027 for the Midwest’s premier event for small-scale, diversified, organic, and sustainable agriculture. On February 25, there will be pre-conference, partner-led meetings. We know there will be questions about these changes, and we’ve prepared an FAQ.
Marbleseed’s staff and board are excited to invite you join at Lake Lawn Resort this winter! This new location was carefully selected for its more intimate size that better fits the conference’s current scope. It will also allow us to lower the event’s carbon footprint.
“We are thrilled to bring our flagship event to Lake Lawn Resort for our annual gathering,” said Lori Stern, Executive Director of Marbleseed. “We wanted an opportunity to be in a more residential setting with a smaller number of attendees. Lake Lawn also aligns with our intention of hosting a more environmentally friendly event.”
The oldest resort in Wisconsin, Lake Lawn is dedicated to recycling and low- to no-paper events. It is located in a heavily wooded area on two miles of lakefront. In addition to the resort’s 271 rooms, the nearby area offers a wide selection of lodging options at many price points. It becomes the eighth location of the conference, which has previously been held in seven other spaces since its inception in 1990.
